To obtain a hoisting license you must be able to pass a valid DOT medical check.

A copy of your medical card needs to be submitted with your application.  If there is an issue with passing a DOT medical check you can contact the Mass Department of Safety and request an appeal. DOT medical checks can usually be done on a walk-in basis or the day you request. If you pass you should leave the office with a medical card in hand.
